Diabetic Warning Signs:

Remember to inspect your feet on a daily basis. Also, inspect your shoes for any object that may have gotten in.  Check for any break in the skin, especially between the toes. If your vision is impaired, have someone else check for you. 

Call our office if you notice any of the following:

  • Itching and scales of the skin and in between toes.

  •  Puncture wounds, splinters.

  •  Cuts and scrapes that do not heal.

  •  Ingrown toenails even though may not be painful.

  •  Corns and calluses at the bottom and on top of toes.

  •  Pain with closed shoes.

  •  Swelling of the feet.

  •  Any injury, sprains and strains.

  •  Discoloration, redness areas, open draining sores.

  •  Numbness of the feet.

  •  Pain in the calves during walking or exercise.

  •  dryness of skin.
